“QA Windows Ltd.” based in Scalloway, Shetland was established in 2011 as a result of identifying a gap in the marketplace for high quality, competitively priced windows, doors and other building materials suitable for Shetlands challenging weather conditions. With the extensive knowledge of our Directors of how this was achieved in other European countries where much greater environmental extremes were experienced, the process began. We explored the opportunities with reputable companies which could supply us with the quality and specification we required, along with the appropriate certification, guarantees, secure reliable transport links and support services. The products supplied would also have to exceed all building regulation requirements.
Following a careful vetting process two main suppliers based in the Czech Republic and Germany were identified and now 6 years on a healthy trading relationship is well established. The growth of “QA Windows Ltd”, has been achieved through reputation over this period, with minimal advertising requirement and a large proportion of our customers coming through the experiences of their neighbours, friends, family and business associates. The company is now well established and our personnel have been with us since the start, gaining a vast experience of individual diverse requirements and are passionate about providing a customer centred service and always striving to ensure quality and improvement.
